FOCUS

Having now been on my own for over a year and not very technically minded, I have worked out that becoming more comfortable with Twitter and Blogs and Facebook and, and, and, is the way forward ...

So, having not done a blog for a whole year (dreadful!) I am now going to do one on a weekly basis and here I need your help ... please let me have your ideas on what you would like to hear about ... be it silly anecdotes, spiritual sayings, etc. ... all thoughts welcome!

Today's point of view is FOCUS ... that dreadful word that a lot of us dread, especially at a time like now when that is exactly what we have to do and we charge around trying to add to our little pile of to do lists to keep us busy and hope that its going to be the cure of all our monetary ills.

About a year ago, I met a great guy ... in fact a client who I was carry out some conveyancing work for and he gave me this analagy about the AI (or it could be a train!) where you start your trip up the AI from London heading towards York. Along the way, you have a brainwave which leads you off the AI and before you know it, you are in Birmingham! Hell, you think to yourself, its going to take a long time to get back to the AI and back on track!! This is what FOCUS is all about.

FOCUS on what you are good at and by doing this, you will reap the reward!
